Description
Kharanaq is one of the most scenic villages in all of Iran. The all-but deserted mud-brick village of Kharanaq which it emerged over 1000 years ago. What can been seen in this ghost town is a Qajar-era mosque, a cylindrical 17th-century shaking minaret and a caravanserai.
Temple of chek chek or pir-e sabz which is located in a beautiful village hidden in the mountains, lies 48 kilometers northeast of yazd. Also known as Zoroastrian holy sight of Chak Chak.
In Maybod, this ancient city that dates back to the pre-Islamic era, you may visit Narein castle, a very nice pigeon tower, an old restored caravanserai.

Kharanaq is a very special place. It is an ancient village made of argil and it is a must see in Iran. Chak Chak is a magical place in the middle of the desert! Maybod is a very beautiful place with a lot of history! Its like travelling in time! We really recommend it!! The guide was very friendly anad gentle and did everything to make out trip a pleasant trip!!

Chak chak is a nice and relaxing place hidden in the mountains, but the best was the watermelon we ate after the excursion. Highly recommended!!
