I planned a different tour for myself, which included the dakhme, towers of silence, and that was no problem. I wanted to visit the he towers of silence, the Pahlavanpour Garden in Mehriz and the Sar Yazd ‘castle’. Since it was in the afternoon, mr. Mostafa suggested we go the garden first, where is was cooler, and end with the towers of silence, around sunset time. This was a good idea.
I enjoyed my afternoon and got enough time to e explore these three places. Mr. Mostfa is a good guide, his car is clean and has good a/c, and he even brought a cold watermelon which we shared with the groundkeepers of the Saryazd castle.
The dakhme of Yazd is a special place to visit when you know a little bit about the Zoroastrian religion. Not that there is a lot to see, but when you know the history of such a place, it is very special. It is a long climb up the steps so it was good that we avoided the afternoon heat. I was there when the sun started to set and the shadows became long.
I have seen a lot of Iran already during my many visits, but if you have never been to this fascinating country, organising your trip with Iran Tour by Car seems like a good idea. They will help you to see a lot during your time in Iran, in a comfortable way without any worries. I will recommend Iran Tour by Car to my friends.
